About us

More than a street. A neighborhood.

Life on Olive Ave is run by people who live here. It’s for everyone on Olive Avenue and the surrounding streets: longtime residents, new neighbors, and anyone who used to call this neighborhood home.

We believe a neighborhood is at its best when people know the names of the folks next door, share what they have, and show up for each other when it counts.

Life on Olive Ave is where we celebrate the people who make this place special, share our stories and history, find ways to support one another, and dream up new traditions of our own, online and in person.

Keep Olive Sweet

Candy drop-off Oct. 23–29 · Delivery Fri., Oct. 30

For years, Halloween on Olive has been one of the best nights in Redlands. Kids in costumes fill the sidewalks, porches glow, and families from all over town walk the street together.

Many households have relied on the City’s help with candy to welcome that many trick-or-treaters. Without the Extravaganza this year, the kids will still come, and neighbors want every porch on and around Olive to be ready.

So we’re doing what neighbors do: showing up for each other. Residents, local businesses, organizations, and volunteers are pitching in to keep the excitement going for kids, families, and everyone who loves this neighborhood.

That’s the beauty of Redlands. We keep our traditions going, and we make new ones together.
